We are seeking friendly, capable, reliable cook/cashier to join the team at our kiosk Soldier Field. Work home Bears schedule, plus concerts and other events. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic cook with strong time management and communication skills. Part-time event work, though more shifts are available at other locations if desired.

Part-time event work, though more shifts are available at other locations if desired.
Job Responsibilities:
- Usual staff start time is 4 hours before event start time - 2 hours for set up, then doors open 2 hours before event start.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary food and supplies.
- Keep foods at proper temperatures for service and storage.
- No scratch cooking takes place on site. Menu consists of brisket sandwiches, nachos, brats, rib tips, sides.
- Maintain cleanliness that complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs as required.
- Take orders on POS from customers and/or complete food orders in fast-paced setting.
- Communicate with Soul & Smoke management, customers, and coworkers in a proactive and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude.
- Wash and put away dishes.
Requirements:
- Must have the ability to work most (ideally all) games and events - usually evenings and weekends.
- Kitchen line/prep and customer service experience.
- Servsafe and Chicago food handler and Basset certifications required.
- Must fill out paperwork and watch training videos to get approved by Soldier Field.
- Reliable and on time.
- Ability to multitask and keep organized.
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time, hourly employee. Can be an independent 1099 contractor if preferred.
Pay: As part-time employee, base $17-19 per hour, plus pooled revenue share of $5-7 per hour additional per hour. Or as 1099 contractor, $22-25 per hour.
